Black Skull was a minor character and antagonist within the story Embalming - The Another Tale of Frankenstein, being one of the lesser Frankenstein within the ranks of Blitz Guruda.
Appearance[]
Black Skull was a tall, muscular Frankenstein whose only clothing was a pair of black gloves with armguards and a pair of matching, black baggy pants.
However, the most notable aspect of his appearance (and likely were he got his name from) is the black-colored skeleton armor covering his head and chest.
Like all other Frankenstein aligned with Blitz Garuda, Black Skull had electrodes bearing the kanji for "Death", signifying his loyalty to both Lord Corpse and the other members of the Ultimate Eight.
Personality[]
While only appearing very briefly, Black Skull demonstrated himself to be a rather typical stoic, loyal foot soldier.
He was also confident in his own powers, almost to the point of arrogance, mocking Dr. Peaberry as he watched her and claiming that a human like her would never stand a chance against him, let alone his masters.
Of course, Peaberry quickly proved him wrong, evident by how Black Skull expressed nothing but confusion when he was momentarily free of her control and realized he'd been defeated by her.
Plot[]

Black Skull was tasked with guarding the captured Hildegard, making sure that she remained inside her room.
However, after bragging that she could do nothing to escape, Black Skull was quickly overtaken by the female doctor who proceeded to modify his body and wear him like a suit, allowing her to leave unnoticed.
After being used to destroy one of his comrades, Black Skull was promptly abandoned by Peaberry and subsequently killed by Tigerlily as punishment for his incompetence.
Skills & Abilities[]
While his full capabilities were never shown, it can be assumed that Black Skull was quite weak due to him being just another ordinary, run-of-the-mill Frankenstein.
This is backed up by the fact a normal human like Dr. Peaberry was able to quickly dispatch and take control of him with little effort; the only real display of strength demonstrated by Black Skull was when Peaberry used him to destroy another Frankenstein of equal rank.

- His was never called Black Skull in the manga, his name only being revealed in an extra for the chapter he was introduced in which read as followed: "The Frankenstein that Peaberry modded (Black Skull) was based on a design I had for one of the 8 special types. He's small potatoes, but looks fairly strong."
